WHY THE CHAIR?

MODERN LIFE IS FAST PACED AND YET HUMANS HAVE BECOME MORE SEDENTARY THAN EVER BEFORE. EVEN IN THE PURSUIT TO PROPEL OUR LIVES FORWARD WE FIND OURSELVES DRAWN INTO A CHAIR, MAYBE AT A WORK DESK, IN A MEETING, IN A CLASSROOM, COMMUTING BY BUS/CAR/TRAIN OR TRAVELLING BY PLANE.

The chair explores unique possibilities to a wellbeing practice that supports you to build strength, improve flexibility, relieve stiffness, rehabilitate from injury and/or improve mental health. And because sitting in a chair is a frequent part of everyday life, we at The Yoga Chair help you incorporate a little movement and mindfulness into all this time seated to move your body and feel good.

We believe in finding opportunities for mindful movement in the everyday.
